No race for LMR II. We can enter the race as part of LMR I though but i doubt they need us. Better really start preparing for suzuka then

Re: Round 1: Road America
We didn't set up our schedule yet, so you guys from teamII can join us if we have empty stints
At least the two that showed up in the Q sessions.
Now we have to focus on the race setup, I hope we get something today so I can practice hard tomorrow.
BTW, compliments Riley, your time is a beast! Probably only you and Juan would have made it to the race, what a Q pace you have guys!

Cut off was a 2:05.0. team 1 is in 47th while team 2 is 72nd. Bad luck team 2!

Re: Round 1: Road America
After a comment made in the MoE forms, i just had an idea of a better way that could have been done for qualifying.
Instead of the way they did qualifying, they should have done (2) qualifying races (still not sure if the fairest way is a short or long race), with the top 30 of each race able to run the endurance race

It is what it is I'm afraid. I didn't see it coming, and it is an astonishment that 60 teams are within 1.7 seconds. As Oscar, Henrik, and Dario know, the Forza leaderboards are at times not even that tightly packed.

Re: Round 1: Road America
Well since we've qualified, we should think about the schedule. I'm happy to start the race but I'll need someone there with me just in case I start pinging real bad.
I'm also happy to do a second stint some time in the 2nd half of the race if necessary.
It's up to mr team leader to decide

I'm on my phone right now. I'll take a proper look at it when I get home. Also, Riley, if you wanna work on a race setup, I will be online from 17:30 GMT until 23:00 GMT today. Always keep iR on standby when I'm playing Xbox.
Re: Round 1: Road America
I can be there with you at the beginning of the race
Everyone else can join us.
Maybe we could use 2 different TS channels:
1- Driver and just another person for spotting
2- The other guys talking about the race
I think it's a good idea to not distract the driver

Here is a provisional schedule:
12:00 --- 14:00 - Riley
14:00 --- 16:00 - Juan

20:00 --- 22:00 - Oscar
22:00 --- 00:00 - Riley
I set just one hour for me because I'm not in shape these days (I don't know why but after one hour of racing my back starts to hurt very bad)
Juan, can you race from 14 to 16?

Re: Round 1: Road America
Here's the paint Juan. You can download it here:
https://teamlmr.forumotion.com/t430-moe-round-1-liveries-and-instruction
Trading Paints does not work with teams yet. So, the admins of MoE are making a zip file that we put in the documents/paints/bmw or Ruf or MP4 and you add each team livery to each folder and name it as their team ID.

My Ping was quite high in one of the Q sessions and I found out why. When we're racing TURN OFF Trading Paints. If you leave it on, it will download the paint each driver has on each team so with 60 teams you'd be looking at 180+ paints which is stress on bandwidth. I turned it off and I was down to 120 on a US Server.

but then how will i see the awesome liveries

Re: Round 1: Road America
Hey Riley, how did the exam go?
Unfortunately I can't practice this evening. There's a free session going on, if you guys can join and come up with a race setup it would be really appreciated
Please post it here so I can get comfortable with it tomorrow morning

Password
12kyoto14
Timetable
10:10 UTC Practice
11:10 UTC Gridding (qualifying, see below) - you must be in the server at this point
11:55 UTC Pace lap start
12:00 UTC Green flag for the 12 hours of Road America
Gridding procedure
There is to be no chat when gridding, and drivers must ensure they receive NO INCIDENTS on their “qualifying” lap. Always give room to the car ahead - approx 1-2 car lengths.
► When qualifying begins, all cars must stay in their pit box
► The admins will call out the cars to exit the pits, in reverse qualifying order. All cars will drive slowly around the lap and stop before the start/finish line. SINGLE FILE, NO OVERTAKING
► After all cars are lined up, the field will use the pit speed limiter and drive to the Sargento bridge after turn 3, and park on the RIGHT SIDE of the track - GIVE ROOM, NO INCIDENT POINTS
► The last car will then overtake all cars on the LEFT SIDE and then go round the track slowly to complete their lap.
Drivers should exit their cars once they finish their lap, and remain in the pits.
Nobody is allowed to exit the pits once gridding has finished.
Race start procedure
Drivers will pace around SINGLE FILE behind the pace car. After the Kink (turn 11), drivers should get into DOUBLE FILE formation. The pole position car must hold 100km/h (+/-10km/h) until after the pace car pull offs the track - at which point the leader may accelerate.
