I would but I don't want to risk my A License. I went from 3.25 to 2.09 in 5 races. I'll probably just TT my way back up to 3.0 before Week 13

yay first race done. Mx-5s on Laguna. So glad NOBODY told me you can jump the start or you have to make sure to not take tires and fuel when serving the black flag. Finished a lap down but at least my SR went up! (it was already below 2.5 from an ugly qualy sess.

Its tough. I wish my first week was on Laguna. Second race I got third in the 3rd out of 5 split  Very Happy Very Happy . But hella fun. I'm just so impressed with how well you can sense your surroundings. I've never raced cockpit view in any game and this feels natural. Plus I've always use the racing line and as it turns out, it ain't that hard. News for me.

So have you worked out how to stop your crew changing tires and refuel or do you want me to tell you?, also i had watched a few youtube videos on iracing so i had the basic knowledge but not a bad start, just need to work on reducing the amount of incidents you have

That last corner you have to watch out for. The rule is that if the center of the car crosses the egde of the track (not the curb) you get the 1x so try and not use the green astroturf there

Did the same thing in one of my races, jumped the start and all that stuff, damn i was pissed when they decided to add fuel and new tires. Took me 43 seconds!

Ill ad you and we can practise togheter and so on, just got up in D licens but still running the Mx5s for now :)i feel the same way about the racing line, never played without and now i cant run with it on  scratch What lap times are you doing on Laguna?

While you weren't asking me, my best in a race is a 1:44.6. I never have raced with the racing line on during a race. I just use it to work out braking markers and after a couple of laps I turn it off

Yes ill have to test that, takes a while to fiquere out the braking zone without. after about 15 laps of practise i did a 1.45.200, my plan is to get around 1.44.500 when im done. Just think 3 gear is just a bit to small to every single track, i have gear up to 4 in 1 sec and then downshift again right befor the braking (can you extend the gears?), still trying to see when to brake though. Well you cant test cars in iRacing to decide what you want to drive (which even if you could rent it for like a buck just to test drive that would be a +)

Is there generally no splits in the mustang? I know there is somewhere you can go to check the participation for each series, just don't know where....

Under the Series list at the top it says "Sessions | Schedule | Stats | Results" You want to click Result and that'll give you all results with participation. Smile

The race at 02:15GMT SOF (strenght of Field) race usually splits (in the past even 3 times) and the 00:15GMT has a decent turnout there is also races on Sunday (

I'll be racing the FW31 and the Lotus 79 for sure this season. As for a car just to hop in and race for fun rather than competition, I'm torn between either the Oval C,B or A cars or try the Road Warrior or GT3 Series  study
