Re: MSA TORA ISCC General Discussion
Nick's twiter handle starts off with nickmoo so maybe that's where the confusion came from? And his last name is moore

Re: MSA TORA ISCC General Discussion
got your tune Martin from Newt, and curious as to the times you pulled out of it. i saw MOPAR001's pole time was a 2:02.3xx for the TEC race. i know I'm never going to reach those times, as mopar's always been faster than I

Ok. I hit a 2:03.818 last night. I've still got time before Q tomorrow

Re: MSA TORA ISCC General Discussion
you can add aero to the front to make things a bit more grippy but i prefer the no aero option.
Re: MSA TORA ISCC General Discussion
I've tweaked a few minor other things. Rear springs being one as I found the tcs kicking in a bit.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC General Discussion
Could i try the tweaked one please mark.
Not had much time to prep for Q which may be a shame with the time penalties.
I just have to brake earlier and be more patient with corner entry and raise the brake pressure to puit my light touch.
Thanks again for helping us out Martin

Re: MSA TORA ISCC General Discussion
tried your tune again Martin w/ and w/o tcs:
w/o tcs: 2:04.466 after 7 flying laps
w/ tcs: 2:03.974 after 2nd flying lap, and lost a little time through turn 17.
i have very few R-class cars i can drive w/o tcs. the GT2/GTE cars arent them. though my corvette tune for Le Mans was good w/o it, i just wasn't going to be consistent enough w/o it, so i left it on.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC General Discussion
It really depends on the car and the driver. With the Porsche it's best run it without as that cars best quality is its dig out of the corner. Some of the other cars are I really am not sure about. The Corvette is close to 2:02's for me either way but I probably prefer it with TCS on. Run what's comfortable and you will be faster in the long run.

managed a 2:03.473 last night in the Q2 qually session. had green for a 3.370 through the first split, but it fell through later in the lap. had a good marker to chase too which kinda helped (Knob Laggy)

Nice time Mark, hows the hangover today
Martin i bottled it in Q and kept tcs on as i was getting same times either way.
What i did do to help was lower front ride height rather than add aero.
It gave better turn in and i thought it would affect top speed less than more wing.
I aim to practice more without tcs i was just time limited this week and wouldnt have made 7pm qually on saturday
Got an 05.5 iirc.
Am i right in my thoughts that the raised front height is simply to reduce wing angle?

idk about front ride height affecting tunes, but i find it aesthetically hideous. i too, lowered the front ride height, and i felt it turned in much better (also lower the rear springs to counter the lower front RH).

better exit corner accel than the Chevrolet
wish the guys working at "The Blue Oval" made a new supercar to replace the no-longer-in-production-GT and give Chevy a competitor.

1st in class in lobby D, Hopefully made some places up on damaged/slower cars in the higher lobbies. 4 secs per lobby to find to bridge the gap.
Good fun but the car balance got real good near the end, I need that a bit earlier in the stint
Ran a modified Trash tune as I was having probs in the one you sent Mark
Ride height to 3.5 at the front, Soften rear spring by 15LB/IN Rear ARB up to 18.5 and 12% extra brake pressure. Steady as she goes
