According to what Venom posted in the TASCAR lap time thread for Le Mans (Old Mulsanne) he did a 3:34.8

just a bit earlier, and Chris saw it, i ran a 3:34.417 while in a lobby with him. And the tune has a little bit more in it, as that lap i was already down by 2 tenths after Mulsanne Corner on a 3:34.440(Dirty). Feeling good about tonight's TASCAR race (then to relax by listening live to the Metallica concert on SiriusXM afterwards)

made a few tweaks to your tune Collin. lowered rear springs, added a small amount of rear camber, and 'cranked' the brake pressure to 180% specifically for Mulsanne Corner. :)i can send you my changes to see how you get on with it

Botched the entire meeting, but half wasn't of my doing. But first, i have to congratulate Chris. Qualified 3rd and took home his first TASCAR win, in his first TASCAR start!! only other to do that this year was jgroves1996 at the season opener.
I botched qualifying, by missing my braking point for Mulsanne Corner on both Flying Laps and only managed a 3:36.030(Dirty), which put me as the fastest Dirty Qualifying time, in 10th. Carefully started picking off drivers, and once i managed to get alongside and pass BDR Blackbird heading into Mulsanne Corner, i think there might've been lag as he nailed my left rear, giving me 32% side, 17% rear & 25% left-rear sping damage. where it happened, my car managed to keep straight, but obviously overshot the corner, but i carried on, to finish 5th. was set to finish 6th, but then XPR Soundwave's controller disconnected at terte rouge a couple laps from the end.

With the race said and done, I have taken the Drivers' Standings' Lead, jgroves1996 is 2nd, and XPR chicaiN is 3rd, all within 9 points. Next week is Indianapolis.

EDIT: I might have the Indy tune from last year. Would just have to pull the restrictor plates off and mess with the downforce

i think i got this weekend's tune under control Collin. though i may be 3 tenths off, it took me but about 20 minutes to find 4 tenths yesterday. i think sitting down for another half hour or so between now and Saturday mid-day, i can find the extra time or more.

The next two rounds though are both on Road Courses if you want to tackle those. Next week is Silverstone National, and the week after that is Road Atlanta, which i've titled "Petit TASCAR 123k" (123k for the distance covered). after the R.Atl race, that following Saturday is the ALMS Petit Le Mans race, and the Saturday after That, is the TASCAR Finale at Motegi SuperSpeedway.

jgroves1996 is 7 points behind me in the Standings, so this is going to be close with 4 races to go.

btw, i sent you the Le Mans - Old Mulsanne tune with my slight revisions to it. let's hear what you can do. my best in any practice run was a 3:34.4xx

hmm.... 30 minutes of additional tuning and only gained a tenth. now pb is a 48.6xx. tried Venom's tune, and its crap. he's written its good for a 48.3 in the description, but you need to have a PERFECT line through the corners for it to even be fast enough, otherwise it wants to go backend first into the wall.

Is the race today?

yeah. i open the lobby for Q at 4pm EDT, starts at 4:30

Mark, I am having trouble getting home bud, still waiting on the damn train and is a good half hour of travelling and a 10-15 minute walk, will try and make qualifying or the race at best, but can't promise it.

If subs are allowed, please put someone in as a reserve just in case.

...phew. i'm glad Indy is done and over with. Sorry Chris, i JUST read your post now. was concentrating on getting the tune just right, but in the end it was just all wrong. lol. managed to qualify with a 48.5xx, which got me 3rd, BUT, VAMR Wilson's pole time was a 48.081!! i ended up finishing 8th after the 100 laps. jgroves1996 finished 2nd, and by doing that, the 'Top 3' in Drivers' Standings are even tighter than it was going into tonight's race. take a gander at the Standings thread

Sent you a tune Chris for NEXT Saturday's race (october 12th, not this weekend. i've got outside commitments, so i've postponed the race 1 week). Tune's good for a 55.4xx (i've done a 55.491, but saw room for a little more)

Collin, ya got anything for Silverstone National? I've decided to go ahead with the race today, as my outside-TORA work next week would keep me out all week, and got home about 45min ago today.
