I have been toying with the idea of grabbing an ineligible car that works into the series regulations for the final race and forgo any points for the night. I'm not racing in the NATCC for a championship
(Thinking about the 2010 Legacy 2.5 b4)

I'm not in the NATCC for the win either, however some ego's in that championship require every bit of effort I have Smile. As for the final, thats a good idea, think they'll let ya?

Dude we're at the half-way window, why don't you ask now before it gets to the cut-off point Sunday?

There's only one team entered in a Subaru at all, I know em, they agree it sucks, but are huge WRX fans so that's why they're running in it.

You want to run the ' 11 STi Chris? Granted, its top end isn't up to snuff but it's got Good grip. Could outrun Bruno's qualifying times from last season with a minor tune installed. If you work on the gearing, I'm sure to find a good grip tune out of the rest of it

Audi PB is a 1.01.8, BMW 1.01.5, tested Lexus so I know what to compete against, got a 1.04 with an easy 1.01 on the books, so we have some work to do on that Scoobaru Smile

Maybe it's a Europe/UK thing, but whenever I read the nickname 'Scooby' or the like, I instantly think of the animated Dog. I much prefer the nickname 'Subie' for the Subaru(s). I mean, there's no "C" in Subaru

To be honest, Grand Theft Auto sorted it out with "Coquette"Wink
I think Grand Theft Auto sucks, should stop talking about it, and actually practice for an event since before GTA I talked so much about how I wanted to race in them.

At least my connection doesn't drop in my races Wink

Just remembered, the 11 WRX is the latest model that is on the game, and I formed a team that ran one as sub team in the last season, had it handling okay, but was NOWHERE near capable of the grip it says it has because of the Conversion, Subaru's for me don't work FWD, same as the Evo's.

Just built/tested the Lexus so I know what to expect in the next race, well... 350PI (Most powerful RWD), 2699 weight (lightest RWD), Tire Width (Max, more than the BMW).

After 6 laps, this was the result...

and the Subaru is lacking in Accel, which hurts its Top End. as i stated, if i knew about the 2010 Legacy being better than either of the STi's on the list, i would've brought it up to the Teat Team during the break between the two seasons.

That said, Collin, i sent you the tune i've got thus far for the 2011 STi. i managed a 1:01.73x in it while in a lobby with Chris, RUN WIDE & tubbi. let's see what "Da Boss" can do

Seems to me I can't drive any of the Mandatory PI cars for this quickly enough (i.e already comes with Clutch,box,driveline).

Not sure what you wanna do Mark, Audi is too slack on accel/top speed, and the Subaru handles great, but has no top end whatsoever.

You could probably get the sweet-spot out the gearbox to give it enough to get out the corners, but once it hits 4th, its all gone.

TCC we can fight it out between myself and RUN WIDE.

NATCC has 3 teams in the Lexus, and more in the Megane, the Megane we can beat in the corners but there is no chance with that Lexus, it has enough grip to hold its own, but beats the rest of the field down the straight by a good 6/7MPH.

I want to find a car or do something with these cars that won't just get stuck behind a Lexus train for 12 laps.
