MSA TORA ISCC General Discussion

4th overall subbing for Collin! quite happy with that, and it being my Debut in LMP1. on two occasions i lost the back end and went rear end first into the grass (first time the rumble strip at turn 3 upset the car and went around at turn 4; another time later on going into turn 1/2) did not accrue any physical damage, so all i lost was time on the track. and looking like i finished 0.7 laps behind The Bulin Wall5 (2.7 miles according to the finishing distances)

MKR is 2nd in Teams, 4 points behind the Corvette LMR team, but BG is in 3rd, i think 12 points behind MKR

Just looking at the results and standings thread, it show's you as scoring 7th overall Mark, but didn't you sub for me for race one and for nick or newt for race 3? because It's scored me as just one round and given you three rounds of points in the GTE class

Had damage again from the starting of the race (20% rear, 15% on both sides), wasn't the guy who was behind me at fault. The LMPC car in front of me didn't go at the desired claimed time, which caused me to slowdown/brake a little and I got hit. Second race where I had to race with damage...oh well, that's how racing goes. Wish there was just a little separation from the different classes. Good racing everyone!

i'm sure it'll get looked at. i wasnt aware a 'Sub' driver could still score Driver Standings points. if anything then, i'd just get points for Sebring and Mugello for the GTE class, and points from tonight's race in LMP1.

Was just wondering as if there is an error there, (not sure if iv just misread the ISCC format as its my first season), then maybe those points would be moved back to the overall standing for the MKR car... which at Six points down would put it where I wonder?

well, the points i scored in those two rounds i subbed did go towards the Teams Standings. just like the points i scored tonight for Collin's team.

no worries.

...it's not like i've been running in the ISCC since it was called the TORA Le Mans Series or anything.... (before Louis took it and made it was it is)

Now that they've cut Louis out if it, I wonder what it will become next.

They haven't exactly cut him out. We've stepped up to help when it was necessary while he's busy with his karting career.

Youigjt want to have a chat with him he feels completely different, from what he told me. Hell, he asked me to be the vp of the series and I gladly stepped up, but they cut me out of it with out a word.

After hanging out together at the 12 hours of Sebring, I understand him a lot better. He made it quite clear that he is frustrated.

Darth, why are the points from the last race under the Drivers GTE for you? Weren't you racing in LMP1?

i know, i know. its been brought up on the TORA forums as well. IDK why, but i will ask Chris (Aero)

its because mark has raced more times than his team mate's excepted for newt

N.e.ways, tried both the Mugello & Suzuka tune at Hockenheimring last night and found the Mugello one to be slower through the corners. Best time last night in the Suzuka time came out as a 1:41.650

Round Hockenheim? You sure Newt?

1:34.5's in the Oreca. I'm sure I'll get 33's and maybe 32's
