iGPS 2015 Season 1 Discussion

Hey guys,

So with the new year approaching and the new season starting next week, I'm hoping we can get set up to run the iGPS. In our debut season, (2014 S2), Juan and Uros did a fantastic job representing LMR. I'm hoping now that we can work our way back to those achievements.

I think so far that we have a driver line-up of Juan, Myself and Riley (pending). I'm gonna get to work on getting maybe some new guys to join us too. Season 1 will be very tough because of the bottom 25 of the iRPS wanting their licenses back but still we could use it as preparation for a full attack on Season 2.

Any thoughts?

Would love to race in the iGPS but the races are too early for me to race

I'm still unsure if I'll race it in season 1. I'm kind of keen to race in the WSCS depending on what the fields are like. But I'll still probably race F1 every weekend anyway

Am working hard to get my A license back using the week 7 mazdas, it's a bit hectic and am down to into the 1s but ill get it back before promotion date haha

You should definitely do WSCS. Chris Becker did it last season and it was really good multi class racing.

You guys should make sure you've got iSpeed downloaded and you're using it. Will be helpful for us to compare laps

i have got it but i haven't used it in a while. I'll use it when i do some testing tomorrow

I've heard of iSpeed just never use it. I don't really know what it is. Anyways, I've started working on a setup (Alex Simpson Baseline). I'm getting consistent 1:33.0's, trying to get into 32's by the end of the week.

download it, it's free. It just lets you compare racing lines and apex speeds and stuff and see exactly where you're losing time. Real easy to use as well

So who plans to be racing this season?

Well my SR is only up to 2.4 and you can't fathom how much I hate mazdas at lime rock. The promotion date is tomorrow though :S

Yeah I'll share it tomorrow. Gotta get some shut eye. Nice job on freight training back to a 3.44 Riley lol. Those Mazdas are torture during Week 13

Any ideas why I didn't get promoted though? At least I have something other than the mx5 to drive if I want to get to 4.0 but still a pain in the ass

did you meet your mpr?

Well it says now that I haven't met my MPR but that doesn't make sense because I raced heaps of GT3 last season.

Hey if you guys want a paint scheme for this season i can always make one for you this season if you want me too?

I think a team paint would be pretty sweet.

Trying to get my SR up in the skip barber now, turns out everyone who races this car is actually retarded and can't go two corners without hitting you

I should have my A license by the weekend so I'll be fine for the SOF races. I did about 20 laps in a practice session before and my best was a 33.1, soo much grip its ridiculous.

In other news I just bought CSR elite pedals with a load cell so looking forward to that

I will practice this week but I will wait to racing with my CSR Elite in January (we look like CSR Elite team )
