Hey guys, just wondering if any of you are on iRacing? Or anyone of y'all ever tryed it? Its pretty fun once you get the hang of it  



Also any of you on rFactor 1 or 2? I've only got iRacing but I might get it. Depends if anyone here has it.

I've done it at a friends house and shit. Love the Daytona Prototype!

How much does Iracing cost with cars and stuff? Cus i dont know if im going to buy a gaming pc or the xbox one. if i buy the pc i want a simulution racing game and it seems like iracing is the only one good? Or is there others?

GTR3 and R Factor 2 are better than IRacing in my opinion.

Its a bit like those RPG World of Warcraft style purchases. You pay a subscription like Xbox:

$12 for 1 month. (€8 )
$30 for 3 months. (€22)
$99 for 1 year. (€73)

There is a 2 year plan but thats not really worth it if you're starting out. There is a deal (just have to find it) where you get 3 months for 1 month price. Once you pay your subscription you're given 7 cars and 10 tracks. Every car is $11.95 (€8.25) and every track is $14.95 (€11). There's 40 something cars at the moment and there adding more every couple of months. Theres 60+ laser scanned tracks and they're divided between Oval Racing and Road Racing. People commonly think that when you buy iRacing you have to spend hundreds of dollars on cars but thats not the case. You don't have to buy them. You can use only the base tracks and cars and purchase tracks or cars if you please. Also let's say you want to do Road Racing only and don't care about Oval racing, you can buy only road cars and tracks. When I started I thought "Oh crap this is going to take a hit on my money but I found out that I really only spent €10-€20 a month and I nearly have all the cars and tracks. If you don't want to do iRacing there is rFactor 1 & 2 and Assetto Corsa (which is going to be fair competition with iRacing once it releases). rFactor 1 is very old (2006) and rFactor 2 is still in development but you can play it. rFactor 2 is basically a sort of small sim racer but the mod selection is HUGE. Its what made rFactor, rFactor. There is literally thousands of cars and tracks that you can get from mods but some are really bad. rFactor 2 doesn't have great graphics either but its supposed to be pretty decent.

hmmm im going to take a look at assetto corsa.... rfactor im not really inrested in.
10-20 a month is still alot of money for a teenager without a good income. But it might be worth it.... From what i know the community racing side is huge on iracing right. i bet the game is built around it witch is great! cuss i need something like forza series racing online

exactly Beacuse im the only pro racer in this team with a steering wheel and pedals and you noobs are using controller i think it would be better to race against other pro players

There is a Formula 1 or NASCAR championship on iRacing where the main prize is $10,500

I own a full racing rig with a wheel mount and shifter pedals, and you're in the team that got 2nd in TEC and 1st in LMPC, if you wanna be pro, try actually showing up for the races that have pro's rather than hiding n GTA V

The Riley is an absolute pig at times. I haven't raced it in the Grand Am series in a while. The Corvette sounds soooooooooo sexy. That video is without the new sound update. By the way I forgot this for Mark  

Now that I'll be making a return to iRacing, and the Pro Series Window doesn't open until 2014, I'll be running the F1 car (for practice for 2014) and the Star Mazda car. I think some of the races might be broadcasted to so I'll put them up here if I get anyword on it. I'll be also running an Le Mans Rennsport livery for the F1 car and look forward to representing the team outside Forza!

That will be awesome! If you are featured in any videos, we can put them in the media section along with any wins or pole positions in the achievements section!

Can anyone guess the second photo? Season 4 of 2013 isn't starting until next week so there is a Legends cup on this week from 7 circuits (Lime Rock, Charlotte Motorspeedway, Laguna Seca, Okayama, Summit Point. I'll record some of them and try to get them up this weekend. Btw there is also a 1/2 price deal on membership going on all packages. 1 month - $6, 3 months - $15. If you've got a PC whether its for gaming or not (I started on a piece of junk) I'd recommend giving it a lash  

What times does the races usualy start? cus if its in the middle of the night GMT i cant run anything when it comes to series and such. And then i wont buy it.

There are races in all series every 1-2 hours. You could do a championship with 12 rounds and do 20 races every week.

Last but lot least here are the last 2 laps my race Pocono in the NASCAR iRacing Series. It was a 2.2 hour race which was pretty damn long. I qualified 18th out of 38 and got up to finish third

Plus I'm racing the Cadillac at Interlagos this week and the Formula Pro Mazda at Watkins Glen so I should have videos up some time soon
