IMSA United SportsCar Championship (ALMS)
Petite Le Mans is coming soon!
BUT...
IMSA management ruined the Corvette's season with the Balance of Performance changes. Looks like it's going to be the same result as last year. Corvette's dominate in the beginning, then weight gets added, fuel tank volume is decreased, etc. Now with a few more races left, and by the rules, there are no more BoP changes in the last 3 races.
Thanks IMSA, you've done a great job balancing the performance .

That series is boring!
It's all about the WEC
It's all about the WEC

WEC is definitely awesome (can't get over the Porsche and Audi battle at Silverstone)...but the WEC isn't always televised or televised at a good time for us Americans.
Plus, ALMS is easier to keep up with, and I can actually go to the races. There has been some talk that the Corvette's joining WEC and leaving IMSA.

Dude it's been epic between the Audi and Porsche. Nurburgring last weekend was an awesome race

I think the Corvettes were overpowered and too dominate in the beginning of the season.. Idk but that's just my point of view

Haha, I actually partially agree with you. I would say the Corvette had the better car, but the Porsche's and BMW's were right on the Vette's asses the entire time during the first 3-4 races. At Daytona, the Corvettes were the fastest, but the BMW's were right behind them. Then Sebring comes along and the Porches were KILLING everyone...but it turns out they had some problems very late which caused their demise and the Vette's to win. Then at Long Beach, the BMW's kill everyone.
After all the Balance of Performance changes that ALWAYS had the Vette's at a disadvantage...it's come to the last couple of races and there can be no more BoP changes to help the Vette's to be more competitive with everyone else. I don't think the Vette should have received the amount of penalties to affect the car as they should have. Truly think it's dumb...basically a repeat of last season when IMSA screwed the Vette's over.
