TORA TASCAR Season 4 - Discussion

I can give it a run at some point this week!

First flying lap was a 1:16.013. 15 minutes later and I'm down to a 1:14.842. This was using Venom's tune.

the tune i gave you for RoadAm Brandon (not the one from last year thats in the club garage), max the front ride height, the downforce, drop the final drive to about 3.50, take 0.2 off the front camber and add it to the rear, and i put the rear dif at 20%/10%. i think there'e a little more in the tune if i can get the rear stabilized on a few of the corner exit(s)

1:14.786. I might be able to get more out of it.

bulin posting a 1:12.8 in the tora tascar section. wonder if he can share that tune in the club garage for us to try..

just done a 1:13.5 most likely can go faster with some more testing and being awake.

1:13.830 with some time left on the table, but a lot more consistent than the previous tune (just ran almost a full race distance making very fine tweaks)

I got to be the safety car!

was a great battle/chase between myself and Soundwave again yesterday. very reminiscent of the RoadAm race between us and Moontower. had i not directly followed Rob into the dirt at turn 10 on the final lap, i'd probably have a 3rd place finish, the way i turned up the wick in the final two laps (1:13.645 and was on pace for a 13.5 on the final lap)


And it occured to me to keep the Teams' Standings tight against XPR, i am thinking having Jabber join the LMR main team to help out, as right now we're 20 points off XPR. Only considering this as idk if Chris would find the time to race with his new schedule..

It would also be really helpful with James on the team considering my eh skills on the road courses.

Combining the lobbies really messed me since I'm not to sure if I wrecked Broomzke or if he turned into me, but I ended up waiting for him to recover.

Qualified on pole with a 1:26.869. never thought it was that good, and was more focused on a tune that was better suited for corner exit, and throttle pick-up, and it sure was a solid tune. And i thought i had sacrificed speed for the consistent setup, and thinking i had only a top-5 car until we had wrapped up Qualifying. At the start, got a small tap from i believe Soundwave (after the race heard he got tapped by Cain, of all people) going into the Andretti Hairpin, but i righted the car without losing the spot, and slowly crawled away from the field. Led flag-to-flag. think i put at the most 5.8 seconds between myself and Soundwave (adding roughly 0.1 per lap) before James got around him, and he finished roughly 4.2s behind me.

car #6 wins the 6th race of the season. and won race #6 last year as well. Hmm.....

Way to go Mark and James! The TASCAR champ takes the checkered!!!!!

might actually watch it myself tomorrow to see how solid the tune 'looked' as compared to how it felt.
