iRacing Equipment Questions

Ok guys I have had several questions I have had to hunt down the last few weeks in my quest to build the super gaming computer that will power my expansion to iRacing and PC gaming in general and it occurred to me that you guys might have some of the same questions so we can ask and answer them here and then nobody will have to waste time doing what I had to do. I will say Oscar (LMR Zakspeed) was instrumental in several of my dilemmas so anyone need some one-on-one questions def go to him.

Ok my question for today is:

I bought Logitech G27 wheel setup with shifter and pedals. I bought this mainly because of its great reviews but also because it is the most versatile wheel setup in the PC market. Though I got a great setup and all I want to get an F1 wheel for it, similar to the Fanatec Formula Rim for the CSW. Now I have done some homework and to buy one, such as the Mercedes all-in-one, can run anywhere from $600-$1800 which is ludicrous. So does anyone have any knowledge or links to building or buying more affordable F1 wheel? I have seen things about modifying the Sim Raceway wheels, but I'm not sure how to do it. Any ideas or suggestions and guys feel free to ask your own questions too and we can just quote the ones we are answering so it doesn't get confusing. Thanks

I am using G25,LCD TV and 3 years old laptop

G27 wheel with pedals and shifter. My old wheel was the driving force gt. It was good for a cheap wheel

and my laptop stop working today

yea G27 feels like a great wheel for the money, honestly i would have payed double for it cause the quality is alot better than I expected it would be.
