I have some friends who are setting up their own Series and needed somewhere to host/discuss it as they didn't have their own forum, I said they can have their own small area on ours. There's quite a few of em and they're a good bunch of guys.

So I take it they'll be registering then?

Well yes they will be, shortly, remember they work too bud, and we only agreed to this around 7am this morning.

If anyone would like to help with setting up the trans am series it would be appriciated.. Starting specs are as follows

Series will be round roughly between 9pm eastern time n 10pm eastern time on either Saterday or sunday nights depending on request for times and days.. again we are still in the process of setting it all up so if you have suggestions please feel free to comment.
A class
No aero
weight must be between 2850lb- 3350lb
year must be between 1965-1980
True Muscle
No pinto. king cobra, no escorts

no more than 500hp
V8 rwd

Sofar we are currently working out the details on the cars and tracks to run.
We have agreed to run a series of races like "SEBRING FULL 15 laps"

1 million buy in and pay outs will be determind buy number of entrants.
more than likely payouts will be given to 1st- 4rth place.

Trying to recomend old school race paint jobs.. even if it looks old school .
we may try and get live feeds.. We are still working out the details

When Will these events be taking place for the trans am series

working on it.. couple people want it during week. couple people want it sunday.. couple people want it saterdays.. please everyone post when you think best time n day would be so we can try to include all that want to be in it. AGAIN TO BE DETERMINED.. as in first msg for the series.. we are working on it and if you have a suggestion please make it noted and we will try to please every one to a point

ALSO the DODGE DART has been ruled out..

Good choice on the dart vapor as far as the time and day just go with what works for the majority

you can count me in as well. i'm off sunday Monday and Tuesdays. but this sounds quite fun. and I think atleast front aero should be allowed. only because the real trans-am series runs front splitters. that is since it seems you're trying to make it authentic.

sounds like next weekend we will start and we are going to do 2 race per day.. i will explain all rules and reg to all that end up in the race.

As for tunes and paints.. please send them all to Angry Ferret2. Builds must be inspected and cleared befor Friday the 7TH. Paints will be locked also.. to insure easier judging.Also sent to Angry Ferret2.. Contact Moonshine Vapor when you are ready to set up car for the series.. Again.. please use old school style paint scheme and large numbers.. THANK YOU..
