TCR Mustang Challenge @ TORA Fridays
I just wanted to congratulate LMR Trash and LMR DarthMario for their excellent runs in last night's season opening round at Silverstone International.
On the strength of his two wins, LMR Trash takes an early lead in the Point Standings, and based on his two 2nd Place finishes, LMR DarthMario is a close P3 in the points.
Hope to see more LMR participation in next week's round, and the remainder of the season. I am going to refrain from bragging up my build for the series, as I'd rather Trash and Mario fill you in on it for me

Re: TCR Mustang Challenge @ TORA Fridays
spec built by Mikey, 3 races on friday. 1st race is a random start, but 10 second delay start (don't go after the game's countdown, what for 10seconds on the game clock), 2nd race is reverse/ascending lobby points, 3rd is a longer 'descending' lobby points race.

Re: TCR Mustang Challenge @ TORA Fridays
Me also, I was ready to race last race but had to do LiveTiming training lol, how did it go Mikey?
Re: TCR Mustang Challenge @ TORA Fridays
It went good Chris. Miata style "pack racing" for the most part, except a whole lot less boredom down the straights thanks to the V8.
For myself, I had forgotten the importance of "patience" until race three, as I had to race from turn 2 on lap 1 with severe damage in the first two races. Two series of "cosmetic damage" will do that to ya.

Re: TCR Mustang Challenge @ TORA Fridays
Sorry guys. After last week's comm issues, I assumed it was my mic, so I went and got a new headset. That obviously didn't fix a damn thing, as tonight was somehow worse. Weird part is Tiesday it was fine for NATCC and Thursday it was fine for VM, but two Fridays in a row I cannot hear or speak? Sounds like someone may be importing some lag from Puerto Rico or Australia?
Not having clear communications meant that I didn't hear and wasn't able to relay important info... such as "how" to put DTech to the rear of the field. I said, but obviously nobody heard, that he was to pull over, preferably in pit exit, and rejoin the tail of the field. Same for Rodman, who at one point said he was going to the back but never did.
And, with the chaos of hearing nothing but "meep dup bip bupp" with occasional words in between, I did hear that "its getting late" when Trash lagged out, so I was unable to send invites before R3 started. When I realized he was missing, I called for a restart... too bad that it was 2 laps into the race.
But in all honesty, the last two A Lobbies of NATCC haven't gone all that much better. 4 restarts for R3 at Infineon, we had two in total between all three races tonight.

Re: TCR Mustang Challenge @ TORA Fridays
I'll take the heat for what transpired at Infineon, Mikey. A lobby host should be on top of things, but that night was chaotic to say the least. Cannot defend my actions or lack there of, but it happened, and i think i did a better job for the Sebring Short meeting, despite the delay for getting B lobby sorted because of the connection issues. the guys in A lobby were a little miffed it took so long. But when Louie, LongChart & dewey failed to show (dewey gave up waiting), i could have merged the two lobbies, which would've taken even more time getting the invites out, and what not.

Re: TCR Mustang Challenge @ TORA Fridays
I just feel horrible, as if I let you all down last night.
The GT300s were great, the V8s went off rather problem free (except for all the straight up starts which let the fast Q'er win everything) and I thought week one of the Stangs went pretty good as well.
But I will agree that this week's race was an absolute disaster and I am doing what I can to isolate and correct whatever the issue may be.

Re: TCR Mustang Challenge @ TORA Fridays
Congrats on the wins mate
I was a little bummed about the car count at race time, but the battles throughout all three races more than made up for it. I know it was filling your mirrors, but going around Iberian side-by-side every lap was good fun, and the level of clean racing was quite a pleasant surprise considering the previous rounds.
