12 Hours of Silverstone - Team Construction

hmm... yeah. i saw his post in the reg thread after, and didnt know he was already part of a team...

He was in the #1 car from Ax4x

i'll contact him about it, and make it apparent i'm not keen, about the defuncting from one team for another like that, as it did seem rather rushed. havent talked to bradley yet

Decided to join Bradley after he got completely shafted from British leaving. Also because I was still a loner in the Subaru.

sent The Brit 1st his "walking papers" via pm just now. not cool, or comfortable with him on the MKR team after the way he did shaft Bradley and all.


anyways, here the livery i put together. some minor changes since i took the pic:

now that USGT out of the way I only got 2 series races to concentrate on giving more time to have a look at the cars for Silverstone before I decide if I want to run.

Looking good! Lets nail down some drivers for ya! I'm going to talk to Faith again to make sure he's still on for this. If he runs, do you have anyone else in mind Mark?

if James decides to run, the 3rd seat could be his. but until then, i'm not sure.

We have a few options for a 3rd if James decided to run something else. There's IRT YT RICE, MXR Claim, possibly The Bulin Wall, and possibly BlackHawk.

Any of those name tickle your fancy Mark?

I also hit tonite in the Panoz a 49.790 I'm happy with that lol.

if Josh (YT RICE) can actually get time off to run, i'm all for him on the team. and if Bulin wants in, i'd accept, which then makes me the slow driver. and im far from slow.

Collin, here's what i changed. lets see how it handles for you:

rear tire pressure: -0.5psi
front camber now at -1.3
rear camber now at -0.8
Rear ride height: 4.1
Rebound: 8.0/4.5
Bump: 3.0/1.0


i easily got a 49.556 out of it after i made those tweaks. and that 1 click up on the rear eliminated any left-rear suspension damage during the 15-minute runs

it may not suit your driving style Collin, as the original tune can, but with those adjustments, I didn't hit the "Bridge" corner and the left hander after it just right and still managed that 49.5. i think a .4 or better is within reach for me now

g2 find me a rhythm at Silverstone. not my better tracks, but have managed a 49.6-49.8 rather consistently.............when i'm not pushing it.

..and found late-apexing Brooklands and the final corner helps a little..

With the gearing I gave you, make sure you're taking the last corner in 3rd

oh.... been taking the last two in 2nd. hmmm. if i have time tonight before the NATCC race, i'll give that a try

The first hairpin is 2nd, but the final one is 3rd. It allows you to roll onto the power much earlier.

Yeah, I figured that. Less torque in the higher gear
