LMR F1 Team officially withdraws from compeititon
Today, Le Mans Rennsport has officially announced its withdrawal from the active grid in the Formula One Racing League (F1RL). After an absolutely dominant 2013 and 2014 seasons, LMR has decided to pull its works teams entries due to a shifting focus and a declining interest and involvement in the F1RL grid. Le Mans Rennsport celebrates the enourmous achievements by all its drivers throughout its first works campaign in Formula 1. II ALEX P II, Midnight LMR, IBlueIJaBBRexI and LMR Mopar all played important roles in the success of the F1 effort. In the United States Series, Midnight LMR and LMR Mopar scored the double as they took the Constructors Championship for LMR RedBull and the Drivers Championship for Midnight LMR as they both scored multiple wins throughout the season. In the European Series, it was the most dominant season in his career as II ALEX P II, not only did he win more races then anyone else all season, but he also scored more hat tricks than any other driver in F1RL history. Alex's brillant perfomance throughout the 2013 campaign gave LMRs F1 Team an advantage that no one was able to touch. Even when facing the defending F1RL double World Champion, F4H Drake, Alexs' performances were flawless and left the entire field in his wake. The efforst put in by IBlueIJaBBRexI and Midnight LMR set an unprecedented record whereas no other team scored a win in the 2013 European season other than an LMR driver. A record that will not likely be beaten ever. All this saw LMR again bring home the double as they scored the Constructors Championship again (LMR RedBull) and Drivers Championship (II ALEX P II). There was also a one-off Classic support series ran by the majority of the top drivers from each series in 2013, again LMR brought home the gold as Midnight LMR took the Drivers Championship (no Constructors Championship was held).
I would like to take a minute to personally thank the drivers from both sets of cars and both teams for their commitment and professionalism. It was a lot of fun and a great experiance for us and LMR as a whole. Again a special thanks to II ALEX P II, for his almost daily help with testing and tuning and approcah to racing. I hope to see you guys move forward with me to iRacing and PC based gaming including F1 2014?? lol -Midnight
