What happened to Apex Racing League

Ok so after hearing some rumors I went to check it out for myself since I am on the list for their F1 league and apparently the ARL (Apex Racing League) has been shut down. Ik alot of you don't race there but it was a great bunch of guys and the site had thousands of members and commited staff so it makes me wonder what happened. The site owner was a great guy and had it running since 2009 and they had series and their hands in everything from Forza to Gran Turismo to F1 and even WRC stuff. I am sad to see them go as they were one of the really good places to race with so if anyone knows what happened please let me know

ARL are definitely not shut down. They still have a full race team and events, they're actually broadcasting the upcoming F1 series in Season 1 2014 on iRacing

That's a real shame. I thought I would have heard something on the iR forums but there was nothing about it. Disappointing to see such a great online league having to be shut down.

Actually Oscar, ARL are still running V8 supercar races by the name of ARL TV

Yeah I know buddy   It says above in the photo that ARL TV and the Apex Racing Team will continue to exist

As a league though, and especially for what I was in them for (F1 2013 on xbx) they are done which is a real shame. Hopefully F1RL can get some of the great upper tier drivers from that league.
