TORA TASCAR Season 3 - Discussion

Ok Chris, i took the Silverstone tune out to Road Atlanta, and without any adjustments, i hit a 1:21.517 in a "qualifying" format (only ran 2 flying laps), and the car felt real good. have until the 26th to fine tune it

there's hint that the "Gen 6" cars are in FM5!!! Mountain Dew tweeted that Earnhardt Jr's #88 XB1 themed car is in the game

   All we need is a Toyota and a Ford! I'm in for Gen 6 TASCAR

if this is true, and ALL Gen 6 cars are in, Bathurst is a MUST for the schedule....... though, it was already planned.

Add two cylinders to that V8 and you got yourself a Lexus LFA. Though, the IS-F is powered by a 5.0 V8 if I'm not mistaken.

Anyways, I'll be on my Xbox tonight to get more laps in at Road Atlanta for this Saturday's race. As stated earlier, I managed a 1:21.5 with the Silverstone National tune, so I'll see if I can get anything more out of it before then

Lexus is american, so is Acura, and Inifinity, they are the originals and are not copies hehehe

Damn Mark! My normal public lobby class of choice is R3 and a 21 is a mint time in a car of that PI. Let alone NASCAR hahahahaha

Hate to burst your bubble Chris, Lexus = Toyota, Acura = Honda & Infiniti = Nissan, and I'm not sure the year it started, but those three 'luxury' brands have been selling in Japan. The brands themselves may have started in the US and labeled as such in Forza, but they are JPN through and through, and you cannot deny it

I was kidding mate, hence why I named only Japanese released American brands.

ok, Chris, and maybe Collin (if you want to try my Silverstone National tune)....... ran a few more laps tonight (still in test drive mode atm) and without touching the tune yet, on lap 7, i hit a 1:21-DEAD. and there is a little room for more. Chris, just for gearing pointers for Rd. Atanlta, 3rd for turn 1-5, 2nd for the double right hander 6 & 7, and 2nd for turn 10 a&b, and either burp the throttle going under the bridge when cresting the hill, or shift to 3rd there.

Ill get some practice in tomorrow bud, only TORA race iv got on is the TASCAR so should be able to put some effort in, however I'll still be giving you some room if I know I have the advantage.

No point me stopping the potential series winner from gaining when I'm only in for the fun lol, however I still think you'll destroy me on lap times haha

6pts separate myself and jgroves1996 (another 5 to XPR Chicain), so, so long as i finish near jordan, i can lock this up. though our skiils on the road course(s) are a little better than his. if we have a good race saturday, i will have to do some mathematics to see where i have to finish to hoist the trophy.

Will definitely give it a go Mark! I might not be on for an hour or 2 which may be too late your time, but if not lets do it!  

already turned off the xbox for the night. no worries. i sent you the tune to try out. its definitely capable of breaking into the 1:20's though. I just haven't been able to stay in the green by that few extra hundredths.

1:20.4 with that tune

after Qually, Chris took pole with a 1:20.9, and i had a 1:21.313 which was good for 3rd. couldn't get a solid lap in. But brought it home, fighting with VAMR Wilson after the round of pitstops to the checkers, coming up short. what might not have come through the Live Stream was when i mentioned that Chad and I were the like the 'veterans' of the TASCAR/Stock Car Series, and having a grand ole time up front. (not those exact words, but you get the idea)
