This is the place to talk about anything to do with the MoE Series. I think this is a great opportunity to get the team working together with a common goal and it'll be lots of fun to do as well. Also, multiple timezones should be able to participate!

Personally, I hate the RUF. It's bouncy and doesn't look like a racecar. The Ford GT is only in GTLM Spec on iRacing and they have to make it GT3 Specs in 4 weeks. I'd like to hear what others think. I like the McLaren and the Ford..

I would like to drive either the RUF or the BMW. I enjoy driving both cars (especially the RUF, sorry Oscar) and i don't own the Mclaren or the Ford and i would prefer not to buy any new cars

Is there any rating restrictions or anything like that?

Yes. Minimum 1900 iRating and Class C licence required for all drivers.

Chances are the rear engine RUF will be hard on tires over the long stints.

Aye, but it's fuel consumption is the top of the table I think (gotta look into it).

i think i heard somewhere that the RUF has the smallest fuel tank and takes the quickest to fuel up. The McLaren also uses more fuel then the Porsche

The only thing is that Iracing currently doesn't have the Ford GT3 car. It was only put up there just in case iracing releases it this build in a couple of weeks

4 Drivers. I spoke to Michael Booth and he says reserve drivers will be allowed. But the Driver Swaps aren't out yet so we can't know how it works yet.

Do we really need 4 drivers for every event. I don't think we really need 4 drivers for a 1000km event.

Sorry I meant to say that 4 is the maximum AFAIK. I too think that 3 is plenty but for 24hrs, you need 4 in my opinion.

i agree with 4 for a 24 hour race. someone like me who can do limited running (6 hours id guess) would really hamper a 3 man team.
