The Time has come.

Post by LMR Minardi on Fri Jul 19, 2013 11:14 am

Hey guys! Your fellow team mate is going to get his first car soon! I need you guys to help me out. I'm looking for a sports car that won't destroy my wallet.... I don't mind getting a used car like a few years old, but my dad likes to lease new cars. My favorite option for a new 2013 model is the Genesis Coupe with 2.0Turbo i4 pushing 274 hp. I also like the Subaru WRX hatchback. I would love to get a BMW 335i but my parents don't want me too. So come on guys help me out Very Happy

as a subie fan, go with the Subaru. depending on the year, the WRX's pack just as much hp into them as that Genesis 2.0t. what year Subie wrx you lookin' at?

Leasing is stupid, imo. you technically do not own the car once the lease is up. and on top of that, when you're paying less per month as compared to financing, you have to make one HUGE payment (or continue making payments) to pay off the rest of the car if you wish to keep it.

These are NOT the Goombas you are looking for!

What I forgot to mention, insurance may be cheaper on the WRX than the Genesis coupe, as the coupe is just that, a 2dr coupe. A used WRX might be easier on the insurance-pocket (one being classified as a Sport Coupe, the other as a Sport Sedan/wagon)
