TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - Qualifying Procedure 173017794

Qualifying Entry will open at 8pm BST on Sunday 2nd of June.

As with all previous endurance events the qualifying for the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place throughout the week before the event. We start off this year’s qualifying on Sunday the 23rd of June.

Each qualifying session will be broken down into 45 Minute sessions where everyone will take to the track.

Each driver only needs to compete in one session through the week. A team fielding more than one driver must have at least one of their drivers complete a qualifying session. The team qualifies as a whole, so the fastest lap from the team will determine their position on the grid i.e. Driver 3 may set a faster time than Driver 1, so Driver 3's time is taken as the fastest time.

All drivers may compete in any qualifying session, but you MUST announce which session you are using to record your fastest time. Drivers may NOT be allowed to use the qualifying sessions as a practice session as well. There may be practice lobbies open each night, but they will not be a part of the qualifying session.

Please see the following table for when qualifying session will be run. If anyone who cannot make these sessions due to time zone constraints please let us know and we will look at adjusting one of the session to suit, or adding more.

Collisions will be set to 'off' during qualifying.

All times must be clean.

You do not have to stay for the full 45 minute session, so if you set your fastest time early on you can leave and your time will still be recorded if it is clean.

Please use the following template to sign up to qualifying.

Qualifying Live Timing

Sessions
------------------------------------
USA Sunday 23rd 8pm Central -(Host - TBC)

------------------------------------
UK Monday 24th 8pm BST - (Host - TBC)

------------------------------------
Both Wednesday 26th 10pm BST - (Host - TBC)

------------------------------------
UK Friday 28th 8pm BST - (Host – TBC)

------------------------------------
USA Friday 28th 8pm Central -(Host – TBC)

------------------------------------

If a team does not qualify but are signed up to race they will start at the back of the field, no matter what class they are in. Like our previous events they must effectively start from the 'pit lane' where anyone who did not qualify must make a pit stop at the end of the warm up lap whilst the remainder of the field continues with their rolling start. This will give you a major time disadvantage. This will also not count as your mandatory stop.

You can sign up yourself or sign up here and LMR Deftone MX will sign you up on TORA. Your Choice!
